Washington

I absolutely fell in love with Washington even though for 9 months out of the year, the western part of this state is rainy, dreary and cold. But for 3 months (July - September), it has the most perfect weather and is blooming with places to explore. I lived here for 6 months and there was still so much more I needed to see!

Washington state is known for its coffee, the big city of Seattle, and dramatic views of the Olympic and Mt. Rainier National Parks. Here I also found SO much more, as well as some of the nicest people you will ever meet! I was so lucky that my first travel hand therapy placement was spent in the Pacific Northwest.

A HUGE thank you to my patients, coworkers, new friends, and landlords for giving me their advice and making me feel so incredibly welcome.
