What To Do
Hyatt Resort
Any time of year, you can take a beautiful and relaxing walk around the Hyatt Resort. In the summer, you can pay $10 for use of the pool, hot tub, and bar. There's also a spa and a golf course, all with the Choptank River at your fingertips. You really feel like you are on vacation here.
Great Marsh Park
You can have a picnic at Great Marsh Park. They have multiple fun playgrounds for kids, and a great view of the Choptank River all around the park.
Emily's Produce
This is a fun pit stop where you can get local beer and food.
Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Visitor's Center
This new national historic park honors an amazing woman who sacrificed so much for others. This free park helps you discover where she came from, how she sacrificed, and who she helped. There are videos, sculptures and many other parts of the exhibit that showcase Harriet Tubman. The visitor's center probably takes about 20-30 minutes, but then you can drive through the Blackwater Wildlife Refuge and stop at places where Harriet had been.
Layton's Chance
We enjoyed Layton's Chance Vineyard and Winery for our "date night!" Our favorite drinks are Turbo Pink and their seasonal wine. They have a gorgeous sunset at the vineyard.
Where To Eat
RAR Brewing
RaR Brewing is in downtown Cambridge on the main street. We love their Thirsty for More sour beer, and as Kirstie says, you really can't go wrong with their food.
