Klamath Falls

Klamath Falls is known as the gateway to Crater Lake National Park. It started to become inhabited during the Oregon Trail era in the 1800s. This small town has a lot more to offer than the time we allotted for it, but you can go hiking at nearby falls here, go shopping, and find many places to eat.

My aunt and I went to this area during my cross country road trip. We wanted to go to Crater Lake but the road was very icy in February. So, we decided we will go back to that National Park in the warmer weather months. We happened on Klamath Falls as we were getting hungry for some lunch.

Where to Eat

A Leap of Taste

This deli was recommended to us by a local in a bakery. It sure hit every taste bud and was exactly what we needed to get a slice (or 2) of a modern, healthy, home cooked meal.
