Carmel-by-the-Sea

The beautiful, quaint, artistic town of Carmel-by-the-Sea is famous for many reasons. The famous people who live here, the gorgeous homes along the streets, the delicious food, scenic Carmel Beach, and tons of shops. I also visited a vineyard close to downtown Carmel because “when in central California…” ;-)

What to Do

Downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea

You can parallel park along the main street, Ocean Avenue, and just stroll around! There is never a dull thing to see or shop to go into. At the end of Ocean Avenue is Carmel Beach. Here I watched one of the most gorgeous sunsets with the famous Pebble Beach golf course to the right-hand side.

Folktale Vineyards

Folktale Vineyards is regarded as one of the top wineries in the U.S. Here you will find a great outdoor vineyard atmosphere, and my favorite rose wine. The waiters and waitresses recommended the Sweet Heat Pizza and the Roasted Cauliflower Salad, and I was very happy with the decision to follow their suggestion.
