Western Maryland

The more-mountainous part of the state showcases many different terrain with farmland, wineries, a lake, and mountains! It is beautiful to drive through here in the fall, but is also great in the spring/summertime for adventuring at Deep Creek Lake, wine tasting, and for feeding baby calves at South Mountain Creamery. You can also ski at Wisp Resort next to Deep Creek Lake in the wintertime.
