With rose-colored glasses, I will showcase the charming city of Baltimore, Maryland and its surrounding areas. I hope to give inspiration for visiting beautiful places you never thought existed in the city closest to you. Let’s keep HOPE and POSITIVITY alive in Baltimore, so we can all “B-more Rosie” 😉
Who I am in a nutshell:
Optimistic redhead living in the BEAUTIFUL city of Baltimore, Maryland. My coworkers, clients, family, and friends who don’t live in the city never fail to ask, “Why do you live there?! How does your dad feel about you living there? I hope you never go anywhere alone!” I grew up about 30 minutes from the city and remember asking other people those questions. When it was time for me to move out of my childhood home, I wanted an adventure and landed in “Bmore.” You CAN be safe in this city, and there are SO MANY fun and beautiful places to visit, even with social distancing. Most of this city is surrounded by water and makes for spectacular views. I will take you to these places.
Why am I blogging?
Earlier this year, I was on Wheel of Fortune and wanted to do something positive with my winnings (check out the Wheel of Fortune tab for more details on that). From March – May 2020, my friends and I quarantined together because let’s face it, we would go crazy just sitting by ourselves in our own apartments. We started running in March and added a mile each week to our long run on the weekend to make a goal out of it. On these long runs, the paths took us to the most beautiful parts of the city along the water. Every single time, we would take a deep breath and say, “I can’t believe we live here.” Using my phone, I started taking pictures when my breath would be taken away. I posted these photos on Facebook and Instagram, and family and friends would comment on them, saying it makes them want to visit the city. Today, I ran into my aunt and cousin at the local Target. They reiterated that they saw places they didn’t know existed in the city, and that I should start a blog. Thanks Aunt Beth and Katie!
