Locust Point, North of Bmore, and a New Puppy!

This weekend started with Lindsey’s birthday! Keeping it safe by having a toned-down birthday, and with cupcakes vs a cake. I will have to redeem myself since this cupcake looks over-easy… Also here are some pictures we’ve taken around the town this week.

In Locust Point, we checked out Serenity Wine Café which had a really cool setup for wine. No outdoor seating but they were very good about keeping it under 25% capacity. Keep in mind they were very busy after 7 pm on a Friday night. We went to Barracudas for lunch – excellent food and I loved their crushes. We enjoyed the outdoor area. We also had delicious drinks outside at Amber one night.

We also explored north of Baltimore…. DeJon Vineyard is in Hydes, MD, and they have live music on Saturday nights. Most people were good about social distancing. Our favorite wines there were the Peach and Festivus (for the Rest of Us!). It was a beautiful night out. BC Brewery in Hunt Valley, MD doesn’t have outdoor seating yet but it had full-length plastic barriers between each table. I haven’t seen anything like it! Like Serenity Wine Café, they also have a really cool setup for their alcohol. They make you sanitize your hands or wear gloves to serve yourself draught beer so we felt very safe here.

We welcomed a new pup to our Quarantine Crew, the lovely Magnolia! Thanks to Marie for helping me out with some of the photos this week!

I’d like to end this post by shouting out to one of my best friends, Ellen, for her relentless work fighting wildfires out West. She sent us these moving photos this week. Stay safe, we love you!!!!
